Just across Biscayne Bay from Coral Gables, Miami, and fashionable Miami Beach, this $60 million luxury hotel/condominium tower rises 13 stories.  The West Indies Colonial architecture of this 402-room, 490,000 square foot resort is reminiscent of a Caribbean plantation manor.  The 12-acre site features two heated pools, palm gardens, and an 11-court championship tennis complex.  Other amenities include a 20,000 square foot spa, 1200 feet of beach frontage, a 145,000 square foot parking structure, and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,000 square foot ballroom and an elegant restaurant.  As Architect-of-Record, GSB, Inc. developed a conceptual design by the owner’s design team.
