GSB, Inc. is part of the team responsible for adapting a former 1926 office building into an Autograph Collection hotel. The Barfield, which opened in August 2021, is a luxury hotel that embodies the heritage and culture of the Texas Panhandle. One of the city’s first luxury boutique hotels, it features 110 guest rooms, the Paramount Recreation Club - a Prohibition-era speakeasy, an on-site fine dining restaurant, and event/meeting spaces. The adjacent property was purchased and will feature a parking garage, roof deck, pool and fitness center.
