OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma

With a prime location on one of the nation’s busiest interstate highways, this 38,000 square foot dealership replaces an aging, outgrown facility for the owner whose current address is in Oklahoma City’s’ historic Stockyards.  A 10,000 square foot showroom offers ample area for display of motorcycles, clothing, and accessories.  The parts department offers convenient customer access from the showroom, as well as easy access by technicians in the service area.  The service department can accommodate up to 25 motorcycles at a time, dramatically increasing the dealer’s service and repair capacity.  A truck dock allows for easy unloading of large trucks, while an in-ground lift assists in unloading bikes from customer vehicles and trailers.  Generous storage is provided on the ground level, while an upper level mezzanine houses administrative office space, an employee lounge, and additional storage.  The site includes an event staging area, complete with power and water, to be used for tents, stages, and other temporary structures used during bimonthly promotional activities and public gatherings.  The property also features a rider safety training area, allowing the dealer to offer extensive instruction to new riders.  With its decorative brick façade, suspended metal canopies, and elevated water tank, this $5.4 million facility has the architectural character of a converted warehouse, recalling the spirit of the motorcycle’s original Milwaukee factory.
