As the Director of Design, Mr. Hinchey manages and directs the efforts of the design team. His design experience includes a significant number of hospitality, resort, condominium, residential and entertainment projects. His specialized expertise focuses on the conceptual design, schematic design, and design development phases. He meets directly with clients, develops a series of drawings illustrating the design concept and returns to the client for review and comment. Often he develops multiple options, ensuring that all feasible solutions are explored at the very earliest stage. Subsequent adjustments are studied until the design solution is fully developed and approved by the client. Mr. Hinchey remains intimately involved with his projects throughout the construction document and construction phases. His dedication to design detailing results in design continuity and ensures that the original concept is faithfully executed.

As a designer, Mr. Hinchey is respected for his ability to balance aesthetic and practical objectives, creating attractive architecture which is constructable and meets the client’s program and budget. His design approach is highly responsive to the client, context, and market. The quality of his design solutions is enhanced by his remarkable graphic skills. His outstanding hand drawings and vibrant renderings help clients visualize their projects and inspire enthusiasm about the design concept.
